About Us

Medical Audit Consultants (MAC) was founded by John Mott, CPC, LMSW in 1997 to provide medical auditing  and training services to hospitals and physician clinics across the country.  Medical Audit Consultants has grown to become a leader in medical auditing, training and coding. In addition to the management staff, there are full time and part time coding analysts/auditors. Management staff and all coding analysts/auditors are certified and maintain current credentials.

We specialize in working with VA Medical Centers across the country on as needed, one-time or continual basis.  We also audit and train providers in private Practices.
